Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
- ability to scan, handle and move merchandise safely including lifting up to 44 pounds
- flexibility to work varying hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- active engagement by picking up and working shifts regularly
- ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
- ability to remain mobile for entire shift duration
- reliable and prompt attendance when scheduled
Job Qualifications
- Communicating effectively including using positive language and being attentive to guests needs
- capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues for the guest
- thank guests and let them know we appreciate their choice to shop at Target
- scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately in compliance with food safety and company best practices
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality
- inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
- promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-ups
- support fulfillment services and guide guests on using the Target app features
- handle returns following register prompts and company policies
- partner with leaders to manage guest issues and de-escalate situations
- deliver service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store hours while being available for guest assistance
- practice ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- report and correct hazards
- support Cash Office processes including cash system management
- perform any other duties as required by business needs
