The On-Demand Team Member position at Target offers a flexible and personalized work schedule, making it ideal for individuals seeking control over their hours. On-Demand Team Members must actively engage by working at least one shift every four weeks, with a minimum of four hours per shift, and respond to scheduling communications.

Job Requirements

- prior retail or customer service experience preferred
- ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- reliable transportation
- basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- willingness to undergo orientation and training

Job Duties

- thank guests and let them know we appreciate their business
- scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy
- inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
- speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with applications
- understand and guide guests on using Wallet and other Target App features
- follow register prompts for returns and collaborate with leaders to solve guest issues
- assist leaders in de-escalating situations and recovering guest experiences
- deliver accurate service for order pick up, drive up, and registry guests
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests
- uphold ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
- work safely by following safety policies and reporting hazards
- support guest services such as order pick up and drive up orders, ensuring compliance with adult beverage laws
- support cash office processes and cash systems management
- perform other duties as needed based on business requirements
