Job Requirements
- Affinity for guest service
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform position to the restaurant’s standards and learn the sequence of service
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
- Legally permitted to work in the United States
- Valid work authorization for the United States
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year previous experience in a fast paced food and beverage operation
- Exceptional communication skills and command of English language
- Additional language a definite asset for career growth
Job Duties
- Stock linen, china, and silver for service ensuring that all are polished and in good condition
- Clean soiled bar glassware and polish by properly utilizing the bar dish machine
- Greet guests in a professional manner, serve beverage and food items while explaining the contents, and anticipate and service the guest’s needs before requests are necessary
- Preparation of condiment and garnish items
- Assistance with guest service including retrieving food from the kitchen using a tray and safely transporting it to guest, as well as removal of items from the guest’s table
- Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations
