On Call Steward (Dishwasher)

The Rittenhouse Hotel is currently offering an opportunity for a Steward/Dishwasher to perform dishwashing and kitchen cleaning functions. The role includes a growth path to positions such as Cook, Stewarding Supervisor, Executive Steward, or Sous Chef. Responsibilities involve washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans, operating kitchen cleaning equipment, maintaining kitchen areas, stocking supplies, ensuring guest satisfaction, following sustainability guidelines, and more. The work environment includes standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working variable schedules that may include holidays and weekends.
