The Bartender role at Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis offers a remarkable opportunity to join a passionate team dedicated to delivering exemplary service. This position is seasonal, spanning from May 2026 to September 2026, with a wage of $16.37 per hour plus tips. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the guest experience by demonstrating expert knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails. They will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages according to established recipes and Four Seasons standards. This role requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to engage guests with vivid descriptions and attentive service.
The Bartender will work in the lively pool bar area, ensuring guest satisfaction through prompt responses to requests and concerns, and by anticipating guest needs. Beyond mixing drinks, the role includes managing financial transactions, assisting with bar inventory, and maintaining compliance with Four Seasons' conduct standards. Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years bartending or related work
- Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks
- Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and holidays
- TIPS and ServSafe certified

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons standards
- Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel's point-of-sales system
- check completed orders with the guest's original order
- Service and take orders from guests seated at the pool bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item's origin, taste, and preparation methods
- maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- Properly and accurately close guest checks
- process cash and credit card payments
- properly settle voided checks or complimentary items
- Serve food items in the bar area
- Assist with bar inventory
- Cut fruit and prepare beverage garnishments
- Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
