We are currently inviting applications for the position of Housekeeper on an on-call basis within one of our vibrant communities. This role is integral to maintaining the cleanliness, order, and hygiene standards that our residents and staff expect. Housekeepers at Provincial Senior Living are more than cleaners; they help cultivate a welcoming ambiance that contributes significantly to our community's quality of life.
As a Housekeeper, you will perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties in apartment homes, common areas, lounges, and offices. Your responsibilities will include sweeping, dusting, mopping floors and stairways, vacuuming rugs and carpets, sanitizing lavatories and sinks, and maintaining commercial laundry facilities. Proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment safety will be essential aspects of your role. You will also be tasked with reporting maintenance needs and supplies requirements to the lead housekeeper, ensuring the community environment remains pristine and inviting.
Provincial offers competitive wages along with access to wages before payday, flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time options, paid time off and holidays for full-time employees, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances. Other benefits include a 401(k) plan with employer matching, paid training, opportunities for advancement, meals, uniforms, and an employee assistance program.
This position demands physical stamina and the ability to communicate effectively, particularly with the senior residents, making interpersonal skills just as crucial as housekeeping expertise.
