The Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero is an iconic urban retreat located at the 345 California Center, towering high above the city skyline. This landmark property features 48 stories with guestrooms situated on the top 11 floors, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the bay. Designed as a sophisticated destination, the hotel is ideally located near famous landmarks such as Union Square, the Ferry Building, Fisherman’s Wharf, the TransAmerica Pyramid, Chinatown, and North Beach. Notably honored with two MICHELIN keys, the hotel is celebrated for its high-touch personalization and commitment to creating one-of-a-kind guest experiences.

We are currently seeking an On-Call House Attendant to join our dedicated team who share a passion for luxury service excellence. The role of the On-Call House Attendant is integral to the smooth operation of our housekeeping department, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas meet the high standards expected at Four Seasons. As an On-Call House Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within guest rooms and shared spaces, managing supplies effectively, and responding promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services. The role requires a blend of attention to detail, physical stamina, and a friendly demeanor to provide guests with a welcoming and comfortable environment. You will work closely with housekeeping supervisors and other hotel staff to identify and report maintenance or operational issues, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for all guests. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Must comply with standard health and safety regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • Ability to work on-call with flexible availability
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required for housekeeping

Job Duties

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas
  • Restock and organize supplies such as linens and toiletries
  • Respond to guest requests for additional amenities or services
  • Report any maintenance or housekeeping issues to appropriate staff
  • Follow established cleaning and safety procedures
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with guests and colleagues
  • Adhere to established schedules and work in a timely manner
  • Assist with laundry and other housekeeping tasks as needed
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
