We are currently seeking an On-Call Event Line Cook to join our talented culinary team and support our diverse event offerings. As an On-Call Event Line Cook, you will play a critical role in preparing and executing menu items in accordance with recipes and chef specifications while ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation excellence throughout event services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and stocking workstations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, and adhering strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards. Because our events can be high-volume and fast-paced, it is essential that the On-Call Event Line Cook works efficiently and stays calm under pressure while collaborating effectively with the team to assist with event setup, service, and breakdown. This position requires weekend and evening availability and emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Experience in line cook, prep cook, or banquet cook roles is preferred, as is the ability to take direction and work seamlessly with others.
Physically, this position demands the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequent bending, lifting, and carrying of weights up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
