As part of our dining services team, On-Call Cooks uphold rigorous sanitary and food preparation standards, helping to maintain a safe and enjoyable dining experience for all residents. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing meals in various settings, including Residential Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support, and the Health Center Dining Room. Your culinary expertise will be crucial in accommodating the dietary requirements and preferences of different populations, often involving specialized meal preparation techniques and nutrition considerations. Adherence to food safety regulations and sanitary practices is paramount, ensuring that all food items are handled and served in a manner that promotes health and well-being. HumanGood values its employees by offering a comprehensive benefits package that enhances total compensation by up to 40 percent of base pay for full-time personnel. Full-time team members enjoy 20 days of paid time off plus seven company holidays, a 401(k) plan with up to 4 percent employer match, immediate vesting, and health, dental, and vision plans effective from the first month following employment. Additional benefits for full-time employees include a subsidized cell phone plan, tuition reimbursement, and an employer-paid employee assistance program. Part-time and per diem team members receive medical benefits starting the month after their start date, access to the 401(k) match, and a similar cell phone plan subsidy.
