Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- TIPS training
- Ability to work flexible on-call hours across various locations
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to following health and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- TIPS trained
- One to three years of progressively responsible experience in restaurant, college, or cafe-style food service preferred
- Rhode Island sanitation or ServSafe certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to interact pleasantly and professionally with diverse clientele
Job Duties
- Set up catering events including dining and buffet tables with china, flatware, glassware, and linens
- Run food from designated kitchen areas to dining areas as needed
- Set buffets with a focus on food presentation and safe food handling practices
- Serve beverages and food items tableside to guests
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining a clean bar area
- Interact with customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain cleanliness of work and front-of-house areas including wiping, washing, sweeping, and picking up debris
- Ensure all health code procedures including temperature management, personal hygiene, and sanitation are strictly followed
