Job Requirements
- To be on their feet continuously during their shift
- twisting, bending and stretching of torso
- constant, brisk walking between kitchen and dining room
- working on floors that may have grease and/or water on them
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a hosting or customer service role preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- strong organizational skills
- ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- basic knowledge of restaurant operations
Job Duties
- Greet and seat all guests according to established procedures
- clear, clean, and prepare tables for guests
- maintain supportive technology by charging as needed and reporting problems and low inventory
- acknowledge guests entering and leaving to establish a positive impression
- convey strong communication skills in person and on the phone
- portray an exemplary image
- know and understand guest check procedures
- keep host area, wait area, and restrooms clean, organized, and supplied
- help clean dining area
- exhibit a positive attitude
- perform other duties as assigned
