Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or related work
- Associate degree plus four years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or related work
- High school diploma or equivalency plus six years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or related work
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office, presentation software, and database management
- Proficiency in hosting and managing virtual events on Zoom or similar platform, including scheduling, participant management, and troubleshooting
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to be flexible in performing work assignments
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet University driver eligibility requirements
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Plan and manage events ranging from small luncheons to large programs with over 300 attendees
- Serve as primary contact for all event requirements
- Oversee logistics, content, and budget for annual and special events
- Manage and schedule volunteer committees and supervise volunteer activities
- Handle correspondence with presenters and entertainers
- Solicit and incorporate member input for event improvements
- Coordinate virtual events including scheduling and participant management
