Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift to fifty pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3 foot deep pit to position oneself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist for extended periods
- Must be able to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot and cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Willingness to learn and train on the job
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Prior experience in automotive or mechanical services is a plus but not required
- Good communication skills
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance helpful
Job Duties
- Drain motor oil and change oil filter
- Replace wiper blades and air filters as needed
- Fill air in tires and check tire pressure
- Inspect and top off vehicle fluids
- Perform coolant exchanges
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
- Maintain cleanliness of work environment
- Provide excellent customer service
