Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot deep pit safely
- Must be able to walk stand bend stoop twist and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Must be willing to work in hot and cold weather conditions
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Must be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion
- Must have basic computer operating skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to learn and apply Take 5 oil change and maintenance procedures
- Basic computer operating skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience in automotive service or retail management is a plus but not required
- Friendly and customer-focused attitude
Job Duties
- Recruiting interviewing onboarding and training new crew members
- Creating crew schedules and submitting payroll
- Controlling inventory including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventory
- Placing product orders and restocking inventory as necessary
- Understanding and managing the shop’s financials to drive results and budget effectively
- Conducting quarterly employee evaluations
- Supporting crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services
- Performing oil changes including draining motor oil and changing oil filters
- Providing excellent customer service
