Job Requirements

  • formal working knowledge
  • equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • strong communication skills
  • familiarity with medical office procedures
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • proficient in using telephone and computer systems

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with medical records management and scheduling systems
  • ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
  • knowledge of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations

Job Duties

  • perform registration and scheduling of outpatient appointments
  • manage medical records functions including release of medical records information
  • answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally
  • provide a variety of administrative and clerical duties to support patients, medical office staff, and physicians
  • proactively identify and respond to the needs of patients and staff
  • maintain accurate documentation and data entry
  • coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient clinic operations
