Job Requirements
- Associate's degree
- 0-2 years of progressive work experience typically in business office communications
- or 2-4 years of progressive work experience with equivalent acquired knowledge
- ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, carry light items, and drive automobile as needed
- no special physical demands required
- must be able to maintain confidentiality

- knowledge of records processing and maintenance procedures and systems
- knowledge in preparation of complicated documents

- proficiency in administrative support tasks
- ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
Job Duties
- Answers, screens, and directs calls and walk-in traffic
- uses judgment to determine priority of calls
- maintains confidentiality of all correspondence and information
- provides administrative support including mail merge operations
- sorts and screens daily incoming mail
- performs large and small mailings
- prepares envelopes and mailing materials
- tracks all incoming and outgoing documents for director and deputy director
- composes and maintains RERT letters and activation database entries
- attends and records meeting minutes for WOHS staff and county/tribal meetings
- transcribes and disseminates meeting minutes
- designs, produces, and edits correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets
- supports Section Chiefs with administrative functions including travel arrangements and proofreading
- assists with archiving
- supports State Training Officer with training records management and prerequisites verification
- assists Emergency Management Performance Grant manager with grant documentation and subrecipient tracking
- maintains and updates contact information in Duty Officer Handbook
- manages office supplies inventory and procurement
- completes required federal grant-funded training and certifications
- attends webinars and training to maintain EMAC A-Team qualifications
- maintains records and procedural compliance for Wyoming Search and Rescue Council
- performs procedural tasks for rules amendments or repeals
