Job Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- One year of office assistance experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, or in writing
- Basic typing skills and computer literacy
- Ability to handle minor physical activities such as walking, standing or bending
- Valid driver's license if driving is required
- Compliance with county vehicle use policies
Job Qualifications

- General knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or in written form
- Working knowledge of simple mathematics
- General knowledge of computer software systems
Job Duties
- Receive and sort mail for distribution to appropriate personnel
- Distribute letters, memos, and drafts within the office
- Monitor and dispatch phone calls to correct staff
- Operate typewriter or personal computer to prepare correspondence and forms
- Compile and track messages and phone calls for follow-up
- Maintain records and written materials of office transactions
- Provide first line public contact via phone, in person, or written communication
