Job Description
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is a global management consulting firm that partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. Founded in 1963, BCG was the pioneer in business strategy and has evolved to offer comprehensive solutions that drive total transformation for organizations worldwide. With a commitment to blending digital and human capabilities, BCG's diverse and global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise, as well as a range of perspectives, to inspire complex change, enable growth, build competitive advantage, and drive bottom-line impact. The firm delivers value through a unique collaborative model, integrating management consulting with technology, design, corporate and digital ventures, and purposeful business initiatives, ensuring clients thrive in a dynamic market environment.
The Office Experience & Events Senior Specialist role at the BCG Atlanta (Midtown) office is a vital position focused on delivering exceptional hospitality and service to the office community. This full-time role requires the specialist to be physically present in the office five days a week to foster culture building and enhance staff engagement. Working closely with the Office Experience & Events Senior Manager, the Office Experience Team, and senior office leadership, the individual will oversee both the day-to-day operations of the office environment and the strategic planning and execution of internal and external office events. This high visibility role demands a hospitality-oriented, service-driven, and team-focused mindset aligned with BCG’s client-centric culture.
The responsibilities encompass approximately 40% office experience management and 60% event planning and execution. In the office experience capacity, the specialist will collaborate with the team to innovate and implement initiatives that elevate the workplace experience, manage food program partnerships, coordinate in-office meetings, and liaise with vendors for services like catering and maintenance. Ensuring smooth operations and a seamless customer service experience is paramount.
In the events function, the specialist will contribute to staff affiliation, morale, and connectivity by planning and delivering a range of events including office-wide celebrations, new hire orientations, cohort offsites, leadership meetings, recruiting events, and community days. The role entails end-to-end event ownership—from initial planning and vendor negotiation, to communications, day-of execution, and post-event analysis—working in close partnership with senior leadership. Additionally, the role involves event marketing, budgeting, and maintaining an office-wide events calendar.
Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, digital tool proficiency (including Slack, Trello, PowerPoint, Excel), and the agility to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. A client service mindset and ability to handle complex or ambiguous situations with poise and good judgment are essential. The position offers a competitive base salary range of $71,000 to $79,000, supplemented by an annual discretionary bonus up to 12%, a profit sharing and retirement fund with substantial employer contributions, and a comprehensive benefits package, including full medical, dental, and vision coverage with zero premiums for employees and their eligible families.
BCG is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion, providing a supportive workplace regardless of race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected classifications.
