Job Description
Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, located approximately 35 minutes north of Atlanta, is internationally recognized as one of the world's premier road courses. Spanning 2.54 miles through rolling hills, this muti-purpose facility hosts some of the most exciting motor racing events, including the prestigious 10-hour Petit Le Mans race, which marks the climax of the IMSA schedule and the final endurance event of the series' four major races. Known for its family-friendly atmosphere, the raceway promotes accessibility through initiatives like the "Kids 12 & Under Are Always Free" policy, fostering a welcoming environment for fans and participants alike. Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is not just a sports venue but a cultural hub that blends thrilling motorsport with community engagement.
The role offered is that of an Office Coordinator, which plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of office functions within the Road Atlanta facility. Reporting directly to the Manager of Ticketing and Merchandise Sales, the Office Coordinator supports various administrative functions, serving as a central point of contact in the office and accommodating department leaders and employees with daily operational needs. This position also handles front desk responsibilities including greeting visitors, managing telephone calls via a multi-line system, and answering general inquiries about the company. In addition to typical office duties, the Office Coordinator supports ticketing operations; this includes processing event ticket sales, managing payments, and assisting with customer transactions related to tickets, parking, and camping accommodations.
The position emphasizes multitasking and strong interpersonal skills, requiring the ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization—from entry-level employees to senior executives. As such, candidates must be well-organized, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The role also demands operational readiness through daily office opening procedures and maintaining a professional and welcoming office environment. Logistics coordination is another critical aspect, with responsibilities that include organizing staff meals, event catering, employee onboarding, and office supply management.
This is a non-travel role that requires flexibility with occasional overtime and after-hours availability. Candidates must possess proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook and demonstrate competence in common mathematical functions. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The employer values diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunities, offering competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package focused on wellness, and growth opportunities to help employees advance personally and professionally. Joining Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta means becoming part of a dynamic, high-energy environment where employees are valued and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and ideas.
