Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of related experience
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required
  • Ability to use office machines such as copiers and postage metering equipment
  • Must pass a thorough background investigation
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Participation in direct deposit payroll plan
  • Availability to work additional hours as needed

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist housing assistance program applicants and participants with completing housing assistance paperwork and answer general questions
  • Greet the public over the phone or in person
  • Perform routine office and clerical tasks including correspondence, basic spreadsheets, mail distribution, file and record management
  • Perform administrative office support
  • Data entry, create and prepare documents, and mass mailings
  • Distribute outreach and marketing materials and general correspondence
  • Perform other duties as assigned
