Job Description

The Vibe is a dynamic and fast-paced Venture Capital firm located in a spacious and beautifully designed 5,000 sq. ft. office right in the heart of San Francisco. Unlike traditional corporate environments defined by suits and ties, The Vibe operates at the forefront of technology, innovation, and community, making it a cutting-edge workplace for those passionate about the startup ecosystem. As a firm dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and startups, The Vibe emphasizes creating a vibrant office culture that not only encourages productivity but also fosters meaningful connections within the tech sector.

The company is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Office & Events Coordinator to become the heartbeat of their office space. This unique role is split into two primary responsibilities: maintaining smooth office operations and designing and executing memorable events. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the 5,000 sq. ft office remains impressive and welcoming, while also managing everything from intimate founder dinners to large demo days and networking mixers.

The role demands a dynamic individual with a passion for hospitality, tech culture, and the ability to multitask effectively in a lively, startup-adjacent environment. Half of the coordinator's time will be dedicated to making sure that day-to-day office management runs seamlessly, including vendor management, supply coordination, and creating a hospitable experience for visiting founders and investors. The other half will be devoted to planning and delivering high-impact events, handling everything from RSVPs and technical setups to catering and on-site coordination.

Additional responsibilities include serving as a culture champion who injects youthful, modern energy into the office. The Office & Events Coordinator will have a real opportunity to influence and shape the workspace into a hub for San Francisco's tech community. The role also offers operational support by assisting partners with administrative tasks and scheduling conference room use, all while maintaining a hospitality-first approach to guest interactions.

Candidates for this position should exhibit high energy and a genuine enthusiasm for meeting new people, paired with an obsessive attention to detail and adaptability to thrive amidst the fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable nature of venture capital and startup environments. Proficiency with tools like Slack, G-Suite, and Eventbrite or Luma is essential, along with basic office tech troubleshooting capabilities. While 1-3 years of experience in hospitality, event planning, or office coordination is preferred, personality and potential are highly valued over extensive resumes.

This is a full-time position offering the chance to gain direct exposure to the venture capital and startup ecosystem within one of the world’s leading tech hubs. The vibrant and modern workspace coupled with the opportunity to build a professional network among top tech entrepreneurs makes this an exciting and rewarding career opportunity. Join The Vibe and become a key player in facilitating innovation, community, and success in San Francisco's vibrant tech scene.
