Nutritionist/Food Service Director Contracted (written agreement)

We are a healthcare facility dedicated to providing top-quality care and nutritional support to our residents. Our focus is on promoting health and wellness through carefully designed nutrition plans developed and supervised by qualified professionals. As a critical part of our care team, we prioritize collaboration among healthcare workers to meet the individual needs of each resident, ensuring their dietary requirements are managed safely and effectively. We are currently seeking a Nutrition and Food Science Specialist with a master's degree to join our team and help maintain the highest standards of nutritional care.

This position requires an individual with advanced knowledge in nutrition and food science who can consult regularly with registered dietitians and collaborate closely with the house manager. The role involves supervising Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) and Behavioral Health Program Personnel (BHPPs) in the preparation of diets that are both safe and cater to the specific dietary needs of our residents. This ensures that all meal preparations meet stringent health guidelines and nutritional adequacy, contributing to the overall well-being and recovery of the residents. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing nutritional programs within a healthcare or residential setting, capable of effective team leadership, and committed to enhancing residents' health through proper diet management.
