Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to read, write, understand and communicate English sufficiently
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • one year previous food service experience in a health care environment preferred
  • previous customer service and food service experience preferred
  • availability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
  • ability to work shifts including 8-hour and 4-hour shifts within the 10am to 8pm window

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Visit patients to introduce the Food and Nutrition Services Department
  • deliver meals to the patient's room
  • provide friendly service
  • adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
  • communicate effectively with patients and staff
  • assist with catering events
  • support rotating holiday and weekend shift schedules
