Situated in the heart of its community, Piedmont Fayette Hospital is part of the larger Piedmont Healthcare system known for its commitment to quality, patient safety, and overall wellness. As a full-time employer, Piedmont values a diverse and inclusive workforce that thrives on mutual respect and shared goals. The hospital fosters an environment where employees feel valued, motivated, and supported by leadership invested in their professional growth and success.
Joining Piedmont Fayette Hospital means becoming part of a team that prioritizes the health and well-being of its employees just as much as its patients. The hospital offers flexible scheduling, wellness programs, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet the needs of its workforce today and plan for their futures. Employees enjoy an environment that encourages development and promotes a healthy work-life balance.
The Dietary Services team plays a crucial role within Piedmont Fayette Hospital by ensuring the smooth operation of food service processes that support patient care and satisfaction. This full-time position involves interacting closely with personnel in the kitchen, cafeteria, and loading dock to fulfill all dietary service needs efficiently and effectively. The role is critical to maintaining inventory and supply flow, contributing to the delivery of timely and nutritious meals for patients, staff, and visitors.
Ideal candidates bring a background in healthcare, hospitality, customer service, or food purchasing, with a special emphasis on their ability to manage inventory in various environments such as grocery, retail, or warehouse settings. While a High School Diploma or GED is preferred, the position values experience equally, particularly those who have 6 months or more in relevant roles. Certifications like ServSafe demonstrate a candidate's commitment to food safety and are preferred but not required.
The position offers a dynamic work environment where collaboration and communication are key to meeting the daily challenges of dietary services. Employees in this role benefit from supportive leadership, opportunities for continued learning, and the satisfaction of contributing directly to outstanding patient outcomes. By joining Piedmont Fayette Hospital’s Dietary Services team, professionals will find a rewarding career path with stability, growth prospects, and a workplace culture centered on excellence and respect.
