Daily, this role involves visiting patients of all ages to assist with menu selection based on their current diet orders and personal preferences, utilizing all resources available. The individual must maintain composure under pressure and address patient concerns thoughtfully, using a service-focused approach that aligns with the department’s goal of service excellence. They act independently in service recovery situations, demonstrating professionalism and problem-solving skills. Utilizing the hospital's automated systems efficiently to process meals and communicate with clinical colleagues is a critical part of the function.
