Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Minimum one year experience in food service and patient care
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts 6am to 2:30pm or 11am to 7:30pm
- Availability to work every other weekend
- Ability to use computer tablets for patient orders
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience in food service and patient care
- College coursework in clinical nutrition or nutrition therapy may substitute for work experience
- Minimum 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Assist patients with food menu selection
- Ensure patients receive meals and nourishments according to diet prescriptions and preferences
- Screen patients for nutritional risk
- Take patient food orders in person using a computer tablet
- Update patient information in GemServe as required
- Correct menu choices under supervision
- Assist line cooks
- Alert supervision and clinical nutrition staff to patient issues
- Serve patient trays
- Package food nourishments
- Dishwash and clean
