Job Requirements
- high school diploma, g.e.d., or equivalent work experience in related field preferred
- one year (in the last 2 years) of patient care experience preferred in acute hospital or long term care setting
- must pass orientation and initial competency assessment
- must complete and pass all annual competencies
- american heart association healthcare provider bls certification required
- strong knowledge of medical terminology
- ability to multitask and work in a busy demanding work environment
- detail oriented and organized
- exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures for an assigned group of patients
- perform clerical and receptionist duties related to assigned department
- meet customer expectations with a positive attitude and efficient use of resources
- perform duties according to policies and procedures under direct supervision of an RN
- maintain exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
- multitask in a busy demanding work environment
- utilize critical thinking skills to manage responsibilities effectively
