The Nursing Assistant/Unit Receptionist position at Montage Health plays a vital role within the patient care team, operating under the guidance of department leaders including the director, assistant director, charge nurse, or nurse. This dual-role position combines direct patient care responsibilities with essential clerical and receptionist duties specific to the assigned unit. Nursing assistants are tasked with taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, and providing comfort measures to support their well-being. The receptionist aspect requires proficiency in managing telephone communications, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring that customer expectations are met with a positive attitude and resourcefulness. The role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a high-paced and demanding clinical environment. A successful candidate must exemplify critical thinking skills to effectively manage the multifaceted responsibilities and unpredictable nature of healthcare settings. Importantly, adherence to the policies and procedures of both Montage Health and the individual department is mandatory, with nursing assistants performing all clinical duties under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN). This position offers a full-time day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with an hourly pay range from $30.40 to $40.67 depending on applicable experience. Shift differentials are also available for evening and night shifts, enhancing total compensation. Working at Montage Health provides the opportunity to build a meaningful career in a supportive and progressive healthcare environment, where your role significantly impacts patient experiences and outcomes.
