Job Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
- Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist
- Prefer three years' experience in nuclear medicine department
- Able to communicate on a professional level with patients, nurses, physicians and other ancillary staff
- Must be able to provide quality results for diagnostic testing
- Provides a sensitive and supportive environment for patients and family members

Job Duties
- Document patient information and perform other non-clinical duties to support procedure completion
- Greet and identify correct patient and provide a brief explanation of requested procedure to ensure patient care and patients' right to know
- Perform all aspects of radiopharmaceutical preparation for scintigraphy, bioassay, and therapeutic procedures and dispose of radioactive trash according to department policy and Nuclear Regulatory Commission standards
- Perform imaging and therapeutic procedures according to requirements
- Perform non-clinical activities pertinent to equipment maintenance and NRC regulations for Quality Control and radiation monitoring
- Maintain appropriate supplies and a clean, organized work environment
- Participate in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of Nuclear Medicine
- Perform other duties as required
- Must read, understand, and adhere to all Physician Services policies and procedures
- Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement
