Job Requirements

  • Must be licensed in the state of TX or be eligible to be licensed
  • Experience in a trauma setting as an NP or PA is required
  • Ability to perform trauma assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours in a PRN capacity

Job Qualifications

  • Licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant in Texas or eligible for licensure
  • Experience in trauma care as an NP or PA
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in high-stress emergency settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to faith-based patient care values

Job Duties

  • Provide trauma patient assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver emergency care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Perform procedures as authorized within scope of practice
  • Educate patients and families about treatment and recovery
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
