Embracing Nashville's vibrant food culture, Hattie B's continues to expand its footprint throughout the South, bringing the unique taste of Nashville hot chicken to a broader audience. The company values respect and love for both its employees and guests, fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment where team members can thrive and contribute to the brand's ongoing success.

This role is open for individuals interested in joining the Catering / Events and Prep Kitchen team, an essential part of Hattie B's operation that ensures high-quality food preparation and exceptional service at various events. The Catering / Events and Prep Kitchen team member will take on a versatile range of responsibilities including food preparation, assisting with chicken frying, spicing, and preparing sides and desserts. Moreover, the role involves supporting the Kitchen Manager and staff by coordinating event service tasks such as serving guests, managing deliveries, and handling pickups. Ideal candidates will enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative environment where creativity is encouraged, especially as this is a space where new menu items are developed.

Physical capabilities such as lifting up to 30 pounds are necessary due to the hands-on nature of the job. The work schedule includes weekend availability, with shifts potentially varying weekly based on events and delivery schedules. This dynamic role offers unique experiences such as travel opportunities for catering events, contributing to both personal and professional growth. Hattie B’s dedication to employee development means training will be provided to the right candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to build their skills in the food service and hospitality industry.

The position is based in Nashville, TN, and offers various benefits including 401(k) matching, health, dental, vision, and disability insurance, paid time off, an employee discount, and a referral program.
