The role of General Manager at Noodles & Company is a leadership position that demands exceptional management skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for running the restaurant efficiently and effectively, overseeing all aspects of operations including staff management, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. A key part of this role involves managing the restaurant's profit and loss (P&L), tracking expenses against the annual budget, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements. You will be expected to continuously review restaurant operations to address any issues or concerns promptly and to foster a positive workplace environment. Through respectful leadership and timely, actionable feedback, you will develop your team members, recognizing their achievements and helping to identify and nurture future leaders via the Leadership Development Program, My Road Trip.

The General Manager is expected to maintain high standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness while keeping the restaurant fully staffed with outstanding team members who share the company’s passion and dedication.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years restaurant/retail experience
  • Two years of management experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and situations with skill and discretion
  • Ability to make guests smile uncontrollably
  • Articulate
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a strong work ethic and accountability
  • Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work necessary hours
  • Position may require walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling or moving objects up to 55 pounds
  • Certain other physical requirements may apply, as reasonably applicable in a standard kitchen/restaurant environment
