Job Description
The Nash Casino is a premier entertainment and gaming establishment located in New Hampshire, known for offering an exceptional guest experience through a wide array of gaming options, lively entertainment, and dining venues. As a notable employer in the hospitality industry, The Nash Casino prides itself on fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and promotes professional growth among its staff. The casino employs a variety of skilled professionals who contribute to maintaining an engaging and dynamic environment for its guests. With a commitment to excellence, The Nash Casino strives to blend high-quality service with an energetic atmosphere, ensuring memorable experiences for every visitor.
The Head Noodle Bar Chef position at The Nash Casino represents a pivotal leadership role within the culinary team, primarily responsible for overseeing the operations of the noodle bar kitchen. This full-time role involves managing a high-volume, fast-paced culinary environment where attention to detail and innovation are paramount. The Head Noodle Bar Chef will lead the back-of-house team to maintain elevated food quality standards, ensure efficient service flow, and uphold stringent hygiene and safety protocols in compliance with Health Department regulations.
In addition to managing daily kitchen operations, the chef will play an instrumental role in developing and refining the noodle bar’s menu, keeping it exciting, seasonal, and aligned with customer preferences and market trends specific to the New Hampshire area. Collaboration on new menu creations and innovative dishes is a key component of the role, providing opportunities for culinary creativity and leadership in shaping the restaurant’s distinct offerings.
The chef is expected to enforce food safety standards rigorously among kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with proper hygiene and sanitation protocols. This position demands a hands-on approach to creating standardized recipes to guarantee consistent taste, presentation, and quality across all dishes served. The Head Noodle Bar Chef will also oversee the plating and presentation of dishes to ensure every plate meets the restaurant’s brand standards and customer expectations.
Operational efficiency is critical in this role, with an emphasis on streamlining kitchen functions and optimizing staffing through effective scheduling that balances demand fluctuations and labor cost control. The chef will be responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring kitchen personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment that supports professional development and open communication.
Physical and mental demands of the role include the ability to work extended shifts, often standing, moving, and lifting items up to 50 pounds. The successful candidate will need to adapt to varying temperatures and high-energy conditions typical of a busy restaurant kitchen. A positive attitude and strong leadership presence are essential for maintaining morale and setting a high standard for culinary excellence.
This position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for culinary professionals passionate about leadership and innovation within a renowned entertainment venue. Prospective candidates with ServSafe or allergen certification, or willing to obtain certification upon hire, are especially encouraged to apply. The Nash Casino is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, inviting qualified applicants to join its vibrant and dedicated team.
