Job Description

Belmar Pharma Solutions, established in 1985, has become a trusted compounding pharmacy dedicated to delivering superior quality, consistency, and clinical support to healthcare providers. As leaders in Women's Health from the very beginning, Belmar Pharma Solutions offers unparalleled educational resources tailored to hormone therapies for both women and men. The company's commitment to excellence is reflected in its specialized Women's Health team and a wide range of compounded medication offerings designed to meet the unique needs of patients. The company's mission centers on improving patient outcomes through personalized medication formulations, ensuring that healthcare providers have access to customized therapies that are not available through traditional pharmaceutical channels.

Belmar Pharma Solutions is more than just a compounding pharmacy; it is a healthcare partner that values wellness, respect, and accountability by supporting both its patients and employees. With comprehensive health coverage, a 401(k) plan that includes a 5% match with no vesting period, and generous paid time off and holidays, the company fosters a positive and supportive workplace environment. Additional benefits such as $500 referral bonuses and access to free or reduced-cost prescriptions further underscore the company’s dedication to employee well-being.

The role of a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician at Belmar Pharma Solutions is essential to the pharmacy's success and reputation. This position focuses on the preparation of individualized medication formulations that require precise measuring, mixing, and packaging in accordance with specific prescriptions and established quality standards. The technician works closely with pharmacists to uphold the highest standards of patient care, maintaining clean and organized workspaces while following rigorous safety protocols. Additionally, the technician assists with inventory management, both ongoing and at month-end, supports continuous training efforts, and ensures that all outdated medications are properly removed and documented for destruction.

Physical demands for this position include the ability to work comfortably in various positions such as sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, and walking for extended periods. The technician must handle chemicals safely, some of which are toxic, requiring strict adherence to safety precautions and the use of compounding safety equipment for prolonged durations when necessary. Proficiency with pharmacy software and related technology devices is also required to support efficient workflow and precise record-keeping.

The hourly pay range for this position is $20 to $24, reflecting the specialized skills and responsibilities entrusted to this role.
