The role of a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician at Belmar Pharma Solutions is essential to the pharmacy's success and reputation. The Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician is responsible for maintaining compliance with all applicable pharmacy rules and regulations, including company policies. The technician prioritizes the preparation of compounding records, accurately compounds medications, files necessary paperwork, and performs routine cleaning and maintenance of compounding areas and equipment. Additionally, the technician assists with inventory management, both ongoing and at month-end, supports continuous training efforts, and ensures that all outdated medications are properly removed and documented for destruction.

Physical demands for this position include the ability to work comfortably in various positions such as sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, and walking for extended periods. The technician must handle chemicals safely, some of which are toxic, requiring strict adherence to safety precautions and the use of compounding safety equipment for prolonged durations when necessary.
