Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
appropriate state technician license/registration required
ability to work in various positions including sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, reach, and walking for prolonged periods
ability to handle chemicals safely with adherence to safety precautions
proficiency in using compounding equipment and pharmacy software
ability to wear required compounding safety equipment for long periods
must maintain patient confidentiality and comply with regulatory requirements

Job Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute
high school diploma or equivalent
appropriate state technician license/registration required
PTCB certification preferred if not a state requirement
compounding and/or laboratory experience preferred
must be able to read, understand SOPs and all guidelines as they relate to the process
