Hub Group Final Mile is currently seeking Non-CDL Independent Contractors for its Owner Operator/Independent Service Provider Driving Team. This role involves appliance delivery and installation services using 26-foot box trucks equipped with lift gates. Contractors must own, rent, or lease their own truck and ideally provide a driver helper to assist during deliveries. This position offers a gross earning potential of up to $3,500 per week per truck, with local deliveries that allow drivers to return home daily. Payment is made weekly, and contractors benefit from convenient weekly settlements, direct deposit, and online access to their settlements for ease of tracking earnings.

The role requires performing timely and accurate delivery of household appliances such as refrigerators, microwave ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers, stoves, and other kitchen and laundry appliances. In addition to delivery, contractors are expected to complete basic installation tasks, following manufacturer specifications meticulously. The job entails using basic hand tools to assemble, adjust, and install appliances safely and correctly. Contractors must be able to maneuver heavy items using appropriate equipment or assistance from another person. Providing a two-person delivery team is essential to ensure high-quality service and safe handling of appliances.

This role is ideal for professional individuals with experience in appliance installation or those willing to acquire these skills through on-the-job learning. Contractors must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, an active MC Operating Authority and DOT number with FMCSA or be willing to obtain them, and must have their own personal set of tools.
