The company is currently seeking motivated individuals for the role of Non CDL Delivery Trainee. This position is a unique opportunity for candidates to join a respected beverage distribution company while receiving on-the-job training to obtain their Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Non CDL Delivery Trainees play a vital role in the daily operations by delivering product within assigned routes using company vehicles. They are responsible for handling cases of beer, wine, and other beverages efficiently and safely, ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and on time. The trainees must be capable of reading and utilizing maps to navigate routes, completing driver logs, and conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
This position requires candidates to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, wet, or dry environments, emphasizing the physical nature of the role. Those selected will work Monday through Friday on the first shift, providing a consistent and stable schedule. Job Duties
- Complete delivery route as sequenced within time constraints
- accurately calculate the amount due and collect payment for product delivered at each account
- correctly complete all required paperwork during the driver check-in process at the completion of the daily route
- assist other team members to complete routes
