Job Requirements

  • Ability to operate heavy-duty trucks safely and reliably
  • current state-issued standard driver's license
  • acceptable driving record
  • willingness to work early morning shifts including occasional Saturdays
  • physical ability to perform labor-intensive work
  • ability to perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations
  • capacity to work independently and as part of a team
  • ready to obtain REAL ID or TSA approved alternative if job-related travel is needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • no prior work experience required
  • valid state-issued standard driver's license
  • clean and acceptable driving record
  • ability to safely operate heavy-duty vehicles
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • physical capability to perform labor-intensive tasks

Job Duties

  • Operate heavy-duty vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety regulations
  • perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections using DVIR
  • report unsafe conditions or service issues to Operations Manager or Dispatch
  • participate in all required training and meetings
  • collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and safety
  • perform assigned duties on scheduled routes and assist other drivers as directed
  • communicate customer concerns and complete required documentation at the end of routes
  • ensure waste containers are emptied properly, positioned correctly, and customer locations left clean
  • submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal
  • notify management immediately of incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage
