Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
  • Advanced route planning skills required
  • Intermediate knowledge of DOT regulations required
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal oversight
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Competence in learning new IT systems
  • Able to handle and resolve conflicts efficiently
  • Travel 1 to 10 percent

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Supply Chain, or Logistics preferred
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
  • Advanced route planning skills required
  • Intermediate knowledge of DOT regulations required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Accurate information processing capabilities
  • Competence in learning new IT systems
  • Ability to handle and resolve conflicts efficiently

Job Duties

  • Continuously monitor trip progress and resource use utilizing Geotab and Ryder Drive to ensure drivers adhere to schedules and handle service failures effectively
  • Manage equipment by optimizing trailer and driver selection to ensure operational efficiency and profitability
  • Assign loads to drivers to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and driver retention within assigned areas while demonstrating fiscal responsibility
  • Collaborate with Account Management and backhaul teams to develop strategies that enhance revenue through effective resource utilization
  • Perform other duties as assigned
