Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
- Advanced route planning skills required
- Intermediate knowledge of DOT regulations required
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal oversight
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Competence in learning new IT systems
- Able to handle and resolve conflicts efficiently
- Travel 1 to 10 percent

Job Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Supply Chain, or Logistics preferred

Job Duties
- Continuously monitor trip progress and resource use utilizing Geotab and Ryder Drive to ensure drivers adhere to schedules and handle service failures effectively
- Manage equipment by optimizing trailer and driver selection to ensure operational efficiency and profitability
- Assign loads to drivers to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and driver retention within assigned areas while demonstrating fiscal responsibility
- Collaborate with Account Management and backhaul teams to develop strategies that enhance revenue through effective resource utilization
- Perform other duties as assigned
