The Night Receptionist role at Elk Creek Assisted Living is pivotal for operational success and resident satisfaction. This position serves as the frontline ambassador during the evening hours, Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm, welcoming and assisting residents, family members, employees, and vendors with professionalism and warmth. The role involves managing communications effectively, including answering and transferring calls, taking accurate messages, and ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly. Additionally, the receptionist handles mail distribution, administrative tasks such as faxing and photocopying, and maintains the cleanliness and comfort of the lobby and front desk areas.

This position requires an individual who excels in communication and demonstrates genuine empathy and compassion, especially towards the elderly population. Prior experience in healthcare or senior living is beneficial but not mandatory, as comprehensive training is provided to help new hires succeed. Job Requirements

  • Monday - Friday 3pm - 7pm
  • prior experience in senior living or healthcare preferred but not mandatory
  • excellent communication skills
  • empathy and compassion towards elderly residents
  • ability to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously
  • residency within the state where the community operates
  • successful completion of state-required screening process
