Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to operate a Rider Jack (certification preferred or willingness to be certified)
- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving furniture
- Ability to work flexible hours including potential overtime
- Good communication skills for reporting and coordination

- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to follow safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment

Job Duties
- Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
- Gather and empty trash, consolidate trash for weekly pickup
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
- Clean walls, racks and equipment
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
- Clean and restore building interiors using commercial cleaning equipment
- Clean different surfaces using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snow blowers, and snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals
- Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings
- Must be experienced or able to get certified in operating a Rider Jack
