As part of Marriott International, the Ritz-Carlton is known for crafting rare, special experiences that stay with its guests long after their stay. This prestigious establishment prides itself on its commitment to delivering excellence in guest care and comfort, attracting the world's top hospitality professionals who embody creativity, thoughtfulness, and compassion.
The Ritz-Carlton operates at more than 100 award-winning properties worldwide, and its team members, known as Ladies and Gentlemen, are dedicated to upholding the brand's celebrated "Gold Standards." These standards form the foundation of the Ritz-Carlton's service culture, guiding every interaction and ensuring an extraordinary guest experience each day. The company's values include the Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values, all designed to foster a rewarding and inclusive workplace where associates are empowered to excel and where diversity and individuality are both valued and celebrated.
This role is for a Manager on Duty during the overnight shift, a pivotal position focused on ensuring smooth property operations when most hotels are traditionally quieter but still bustling with crucial activities. As the overnight Manager on Duty, you will oversee all property functions, direct and assist overnight staff, and guarantee that the highest levels of hospitality and service are maintained around the clock. Your leadership will be essential in responding to guest and property-related situations, resolving issues personally and effectively, and ensuring that operational standards, safety protocols, and quality metrics are consistently met.
You will engage in a variety of core activities including monitoring compliance with operational guidelines, managing inventories, and verifying that employees adhere to grooming and uniform standards. You will actively support profitability by reviewing financial and performance reports, assisting with guest issue resolution, and ensuring adherence to cash handling procedures. Moreover, you will play a critical role in human resource activities by monitoring attendance, promoting teamwork and morale, facilitating training and orientation, and supporting employee development through feedback and performance evaluations.
This full-time, management position offers an annual pay range between $73,000 and $94,000, with eligibility for bonuses. The role is not remote and requires presence at the New York location. Working as part of the leadership team, you will contribute to property-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing service excellence, employee satisfaction, and operational efficiency. By joining the Ritz-Carlton, you embrace an opportunity to be part of a world-class global brand where you can do your best work, begin your purpose, belong to a diverse and amazing team, and become the best version of yourself.
