The Night Guest Laundry Attendant (NGLA) role is an essential position within ESA Management's hotel operations, focusing on maintaining optimal guest experiences during overnight hours. This position is vital in handling guest interactions during the night, including checking guests in and out following stringent company policies and ensuring that all laundry services meet the highest standards. The NGLA plays a multifaceted role, not only managing the laundry department but also addressing guest needs, processing payments, and upholding safety and security measures throughout the property.
Working the typical overnight shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, the NGLA ensures that linens, terry, blankets, coverlets, and other laundry items are treated, washed, dried, and folded according to company protocols. In addition, this role includes processing all dishware properly and maintaining housekeeping carts and stock levels for the entire hotel. The NGLA helps deliver a spotless and welcoming environment by conducting property inspections, maintaining cleanliness, collecting trash, and addressing maintenance issues promptly.
The position demands strong communication skills, the ability to operate property management systems efficiently, and sound judgment to resolve guest concerns proactively. Employees must adhere to safety policies, maintain cash handling protocols, and perform audit functions when necessary. The role also entails assisting with cleaning various areas of the hotel and supporting other departments as required by management.

Job Duties
- Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates
- Assists guests overnight, checking in and checking guests out, and collecting payment following company guidelines
- Processes all laundry including treating stains, washing, drying and folding linens, terry, blankets, coverlets, and shower curtains
- Processes dishware including washing, drying and packaging per company standards
- Stocks housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry rooms with appropriate products maintaining PAR levels
- Processes reservations, registrations, payments, and departures in accordance with company guidelines
- Sets up and maintains the grab-and-go breakfast area
- Conducts daily property inspections for cleanliness, trash collection, and maintenance needs
- Reports safety and security issues promptly to management or authorities
- Assists with cleaning various hotel areas as assigned
- Maintains overall hotel cleanliness
- Performs other duties as requested by management
