Job Requirements
- Experience in baking or pastry preferred but not required
- food handlers certificate required
- ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50-75 lbs occasionally
- strong interest in baking and food industry
- excellent time management skills

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of baking or pastry experience preferred but not required
- knowledge of proper pastry methods, techniques, and industry standards
- food handlers certificate required
- strong passion for baking and high-quality baked goods
- excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- keen attention to detail and quality control
- ability to work in a team environment
- flexibility to work varying schedules including early shifts
Job Duties
- Collaborate proactively with the Back of House Manager during all shifts
- follow established recipes, procedures, and guides including assembly, equipment SOPs, weights and measures, and sanitation guidelines
- ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining high quality standards for all products
- maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment
- monitor proper storage and shelf life for products
- comply with all health and safety regulations and food safety guidelines
- use kitchen tools and baking equipment safely and efficiently including mixers, dough sheeters, and ovens
- monitor baking processes for quality control and make necessary adjustments
- approach tasks with urgency to meet daily, weekly, and long-term goals
- perform additional tasks as assigned by the Back of House Manager
