Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of relevant hotel or related experience
  • ability to work flexible and long hours including late and overnight shifts
  • sedentary work capability with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask and prioritize
  • maintain professional appearance and grooming including uniform and nametag
  • comply with hotel standards and regulations
  • handle problems effectively
  • maintain confidentiality
  • show initiative
  • perform duties as requested by management

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • guest service experience preferred
  • computer knowledge and skills
  • effective verbal and written communication
  • ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
  • maintain a warm and friendly demeanor
  • attend hotel required meetings and training
  • comply with company standards and regulations
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • willingness to cross-train in other hotel areas

Job Duties

  • Audit and reconcile all hotel cashier transactions
  • review, organize and compile management reports in a timely manner
  • ensure accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions
  • perform guest services such as check-in, check-out, switchboard operation, and reservations
  • prepare and distribute daily and month-end financial and statistical reports
  • prioritize job functions to meet deadlines
  • communicate operational or financial concerns to management
