Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of relevant hotel or related experience
- ability to work flexible and long hours including late and overnight shifts
- sedentary work capability with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize
- maintain professional appearance and grooming including uniform and nametag
- comply with hotel standards and regulations
- handle problems effectively
- maintain confidentiality
- show initiative
- perform duties as requested by management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- guest service experience preferred
- computer knowledge and skills
- effective verbal and written communication
- ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- maintain a warm and friendly demeanor
- attend hotel required meetings and training
- comply with company standards and regulations
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- willingness to cross-train in other hotel areas
Job Duties
- Audit and reconcile all hotel cashier transactions
- review, organize and compile management reports in a timely manner
- ensure accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions
- perform guest services such as check-in, check-out, switchboard operation, and reservations
- prepare and distribute daily and month-end financial and statistical reports
- prioritize job functions to meet deadlines
- communicate operational or financial concerns to management
