The role of the Night Auditor at River Terrace Inn is a vital position within the hotel’s operations, designed for those who thrive in an environment that values precision, excellent customer service, and problem-solving skills. This part-time position plays a crucial role during the overnight shift by auditing, balancing, and reporting on various departments such as front desk operations, rooms, and food and beverage outlets. The Night Auditor ensures all financial records are accurate and compliant with the company’s accounting policies, providing the management team with timely and reliable data. Acting as the Manager-On-Duty throughout the night, the incumbent handles guest complaints, emergency responses, credit issues, and guest relocations with diplomacy and professionalism.

In addition to financial responsibilities, the Night Auditor performs front desk duties including checkouts and guest service support, acting as a key point of contact for customers during late hours. The position requires strong communication skills, a warm and friendly demeanor, and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations. The ability to operate various office equipment and hotel management software such as MS Excel and MS Word is essential.
