The role of the Night Auditor at Ambassador Hotel Tulsa is a highly visible and essential position that directly influences the guests' overall experience during the overnight hours. This full-time, night shift role requires a professional individual who can provide exemplary guest service from 11 PM to 7 AM, ensuring all guests and visitors are welcomed warmly and efficiently. The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the guest registration and check-out process, promoting hotel services and amenities, and providing helpful information to enhance guests' stays.

In this position, the Night Auditor will handle various accounting procedures, reconcile daily financial transactions, and generate end-of-day reports. They will respond to guest inquiries and needs promptly and courteously, ensuring all interactions reflect the hotel’s commitment to excellence. The role also involves managing security protocols such as the proper handling of guest keys and lost and found items. During inclement weather, the Night Auditor must remain on-site until a replacement arrives, underscoring the responsibility and dedication required in this role.

Candidates suited for this position must be adept at multitasking and capable of working under pressure while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English, are essential to effectively interact with guests, management, and colleagues. Job Requirements

  • Able to be alert and function during the night shift 11 PM to 7 AM

Job Duties

  • Providing quality guest service to all our guests and visitors
  • perform all duties toward the goal of maximizing guest service
  • greet guests who have made advance reservations and register them in an efficient and friendly manner
  • greet visitors who are looking for accommodations and attempt to meet their needs
  • acquaint guests with services available in the area
  • accurately following accounting procedures
  • answers external and internal telephone calls taking and delivering messages as needed
  • acts as the reservation attendant
  • answer questions and give out accurate, helpful information
  • run various end-of-day reports and reconcile information from various systems
  • adhere to all department and Company policies and procedures
  • ensure guest security by the proper handling of guest keys
  • properly handle lost and found items
  • in the event of inclement weather, position is required to remain on sight and on duty until replaced
  • perform other duties as assigned
