HHM Hotels values its employees and offers opportunities for career advancement, providing a supportive work environment and a variety of benefits designed to help staff thrive both professionally and personally. The company is dedicated to continuous improvement and excellence, creating a workplace where innovation and service excellence are encouraged and recognized.
The Night Auditor and Guest Service Agent role at HHM Hotels is an essential position that combines accounting responsibilities with front desk operations to ensure smooth nightly closure and preparation for the next day. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Reporting on financial status, balancing revenue, and maintaining accurate records form the core accounting duties while simultaneously addressing guest needs through check-in/check-out and complaint resolution tasks.
Offered at a competitive hourly wage ranging from $19.00 to $20.50, this full-time or part-time position provides an excellent opportunity for growth within the hospitality sector. The position includes responsibilities such as auditing and reconciling cash registers, managing credit card transactions timely, preparing and distributing daily reports, and updating financial data through the BRAINS network system. This balanced role ensures that the hotel’s revenue streams are accurate and that the front office operates smoothly. Additionally, the employee is expected to promote guest satisfaction, uphold safety standards by wearing protective equipment, and perform any additional duties as assigned by hotel management.
This position has clear career advancement paths including potential promotion to Front Office Supervisor, Accounts Payable or Receivable Clerk, and ultimately Front Office Manager. HHM Hotels emphasizes employee growth and development, providing training such as the Mandatory First Service Duty (FSD) certification within 90 days of employment if not already certified. Employees receive competitive compensation and benefits, including access to wellness programs and travel discounts, all designed to support a healthy work-life balance.
In this role, excellent computer skills, particularly proficiency with Excel and basic arithmetic, are crucial. The ideal candidate has previous experience or equivalent training in night auditing or accounting and a high school diploma or equivalent, with the FSD certification considered a valuable asset. Working hours may vary and include holidays and weekends, requiring physical stamina to stand for extended periods, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, bend, and reach.
HHM Hotels believes in the philosophy of "People Are Our Capability," "Hearts That Serve," "Only Excellence," "Stay Nimble," and "Own It," reflecting a company culture that values teamwork, dedication, innovation, and accountability. Joining HHM Hotels means becoming part of a passionate team committed to upholding these values and delivering world-class service to every guest.
