The Night Auditor and Guest Service Agent role at HHM Hotels is a critical position that blends financial accuracy with excellent guest service. This full-time employment opportunity involves balancing daily revenues and settling accounts every night to prepare for the next day’s operations. The ideal candidate will perform the duties of a Guest Service Agent while also managing the complex bookkeeping requirements of the night audit. Responsibilities include conducting nightly audits, balancing financial reports, managing room availability and guest accounts manually or through computerized systems, and preparing daily operational reports. Additionally, the role requires auditing and reconciling cashiers, transmitting credit card data accurately and timely, and inputting financial information into the BRAINS network system.
Apart from the financial and accounting duties, the Night Auditor & Guest Service Agent will be the primary point of contact for guest check-ins and check-outs, handling inquiries, addressing complaints, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction throughout the night shift. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous night audit/accounting experience or equivalent training required
- Computer knowledge including Excel and arithmetic skills required
- Food service department (FSD) certification is a plus, required within 90 days of employment

Job Duties
- Perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits
- Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts manually or using computers
- Prepare and distribute daily reports
- Audit and reconcile cashiers
- Audit, reconcile, consolidate and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis
- Input and update financial information into the BRAINS network
- Check guests in/out and perform Guest Service Agents tasks
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
