The company values its employees as its greatest asset, fostering a culture where people are empowered, supported, and encouraged to grow both professionally and personally. At HHM Hotels, innovation and adaptability are key drivers, enabling the brand to stay nimble and responsive to the evolving needs of the hospitality market. This commitment to quality and people-first philosophy sets HHM Hotels apart as a preferred employer within the industry.
The role of Night Auditor and Guest Service Agent at HHM Hotels is a critical position that balances financial accuracy with outstanding guest experiences. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for nightly revenue balancing, settling accounts, and ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date. This includes maintaining files and resetting the system to prepare for the next day of operations. Combined with Guest Service Agent duties, you will also engage directly with guests, handling check-in and check-out processes, managing inquiries, and resolving complaints to uphold the highest standards of guest satisfaction.
This position requires a candidate who possesses strong bookkeeping skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will perform nightly audits, prepare and distribute daily reports, audit and reconcile cashiers, and manage credit card transactions promptly and accurately. You will also be responsible for inputting financial information into the BRAINS network system and maintaining records of room availability and guest accounts through manual or computerized means.
Guest satisfaction is at the forefront of this role. You will monitor guest satisfaction scores and actively work toward increasing both departmental and overall guest happiness. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to resolve guest complaints diplomatically, and a proactive approach to promoting a safe and welcoming environment. HHM Hotels supports its employees with competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, reflecting the company's commitment to employee well-being and professional growth.
The Night Auditor and Guest Service Agent position offers a clear growth path within the HHM Hotels organization, starting from this role and potentially advancing to Front Office Supervisor, Accounts Payable or Receivable Clerk, and ultimately Front Office Manager. This career trajectory highlights HHM Hotels’ dedication to internal promotion and lifelong learning, encouraging employees to develop new skills and take on greater responsibilities as they progress in their hospitality careers.
HHM Hotels fosters a work environment that values safety, respect, and inclusivity. Employees may be required to work varied schedules, including holidays and weekends, and should be prepared for physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds. The company’s core beliefs center around People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It. These principles guide daily operations and employee conduct, underscoring a culture of accountability, passion, and continuous improvement.
Overall, this role at HHM Hotels is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to delivering superior guest service while maintaining precise financial controls. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic about hospitality, HHM Hotels provides an excellent platform for your career growth and success.
