The company prioritizes a culture that values collaboration, professional growth, and customer satisfaction, making it a preferred employer in the hospitality sector.
The Night Auditor position at HHM Hotels is a part-time opportunity requiring availability two days a week. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless financial and operational functions during the overnight shift. The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing revenue, settling accounts nightly, maintaining accurate records, and resetting the hotel management system for the next day’s operations. This position also encompasses performing Guest Service Agent duties, thus combining accounting precision with front desk hospitality skills.
In this role, the Night Auditor prepares and distributes daily reports vital for management decision-making. Through meticulous auditing and reconciliation of cashiers, the Night Auditor helps maintain financial integrity and supports smooth front office operations. The position demands a high level of attention to detail, proficiency in bookkeeping, and the ability to interact positively with guests to handle inquiries and resolve complaints effectively. A key focus of the role is improving guest satisfaction scores while adhering to safe work practices, including the use of protective safety equipment.
Candidates aspiring to join HHM Hotels as Night Auditors can look forward to a structured growth path, potentially advancing to Front Office Supervisor, Accounts Payable or Receivable Clerk, and eventually to Front Office Manager. This career progression underscores the company’s commitment to nurturing talent and supporting professional development within the hospitality industry.
Working at HHM Hotels offers a dynamic and engaging work environment that occasionally requires standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching. The schedule may include working on holidays and weekends, reflecting the continuous nature of hotel operations. HHM Hotels takes pride in its employee-centric approach, providing competitive wages for both full-time and part-time roles, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
Overall, the Night Auditor role at HHM Hotels represents an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in night audit or accounting, who possess strong computer skills and are passionate about delivering outstanding guest service. This position not only demands technical accuracy and hospitality skills but also embodies the company’s core values: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It. Joining HHM Hotels means becoming part of a team dedicated to excellence in hospitality and driven by a genuine desire to make every guest’s stay memorable.
