Job Description
About Heritage Hotels & Resorts
Heritage Hotels & Resorts stands as New Mexico's premier locally owned hospitality group, deeply rooted in honoring culture, place, and people. We pride ourselves on offering a luxury experience built on authentic storytelling, exceptional service, and profound community pride. Our portfolio encompasses luxury hotels and award-winning restaurants that not only provide unparalleled comfort and style but also reflect the rich heritage and warmth of New Mexico. Each property under the Heritage umbrella is managed with a commitment to sustainability, local engagement, and enriching guest experiences that feel authentically connected to the regional landscape and traditions. Our mission extends beyond welcoming guests to our accommodations; it is about creating memorable moments and fostering long-lasting relationships through genuine hospitality. At Heritage Hotels & Resorts, we care deeply for our guests, team, and neighborhoods, ensuring a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Why This Role Matters We are currently seeking a confident, detail-driven Night Auditor to join our dedicated team as the overnight operational leader at one of our esteemed hotel properties. This role is pivotal, serving as the steady heartbeat of the hotel after dark. As a Night Auditor, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of blending hospitality with meticulous financial accuracy. Your primary task will involve ensuring that the day’s financial activity is accurate, secure, and properly closed out, which is critical to maintaining the hotel’s seamless operations. You will work closely under the guidance of the Guest Experience Manager, supporting both guests and staff while upholding the highest service, safety, and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate will be approachable, reliable, and proactive, capable of managing complex responsibilities independently during overnight hours. You will be a visible and accessible presence welcoming late arrivals, managing emergencies, and delivering professional, warm service that fosters guest satisfaction and trust. Your role also extends to collaborating with property leadership and accounting teams to ensure that expenses and revenues are correctly recorded in the general ledger, and that all financial discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.
In addition to financial auditing and guest services, you will ensure the hotel’s adherence to legal, safety, operational, and labor standards. You will handle administrative tasks such as closing daily business for all outlets, balancing room charges with company and property management systems, and performing system backups and maintenance. Your attention to detail will be essential for securing financial and operational reports and maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary information. Acting as Manager on Duty when required, you will support special projects that enhance property operations and guest experiences.
Working with Heritage Hotels & Resorts means joining a supportive, people-first culture deeply rooted in New Mexico pride. The position offers competitive pay along with comprehensive benefits, including a 25% match for 401k, generous employee discounts across all Heritage establishments, free employee parking, and ample opportunities for growth and development. If you thrive in independent leadership roles, enjoy creating seamless guest experiences, and wish to contribute to a team that values respect and community, consider joining the Heritage family as our next Night Auditor.
